Prayers for a deceased choir member

I recently left my position as organist at my church; today I learned that one of my former choir members passed away after a stroke. Ironically, her husband (also a choir member) had just beaten cancer, and they had recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. No one expected her to go before him.

She was one of the mainstays of my choir for seven years, and I doubt I could have held it together without her. She wasn’t much of a singer, but she was quite the lady, and a tremendous asset nonetheless.

Prayers for the soul of Joanne Regis are welcomed.
