Prayers for a decision I have to make!

Hey all,

I’ve been gone a while but I’m back to selfishly ask for your prayers! 😃

I find myself once again at a crossroads in my life with a few key decisions I need to make over the next coming months. Knowing my sinful selfish self, I’ll undoubtedly be tempted to make dumb decisions that get me into trouble, so I’d like to ask you all for your prayers. Please pray that I follow God’s will and ask for Him to send His Holy Spirit to inspire my mind and heart as well as to give me the courage to make the right decisions and not the easy ones.

Lord, Almighty God,
source of light, truth, and eternal goodness,
transform this present moment
into an hour of vision and inspiration.
Help me to find wisdom;
shed light on my thoughts.

But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular smichhertz, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Thank you to everyone who has prayed so far! I went to Confession today and prayed in church in thanksgiving for all of you and asked God to send each of you blessings. I am still deliberating this decision and will probably start committing myself one way or another within the next few days. Please continue to keep the prayers coming and I will in turn continue to pray for all of you! 🙂
