Prayer to Ask for the Intercession of the Blessed Alberto Marvelli

Oh God, all-powerful & merciful Father,
we thank You for having giving in Alberto Marvelli
a sign of Your love for us.
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee
We contemplate the marvels that you have worked in his life:
the solid life of prayer, the generous social & political devotion,
the passionate love for the poor.
In each sector of his life he heroically practiced faith, hope and charity.
We ask, Holy Father, for the intercession of Alberto
allow us to imitate his virtue
and become like him a testimony of Your love in the world.
We also ask You every material and spiritual grace.
We ask You peace and safety for Your Church
that Alberto loved and served.
Do that Alberto is known throughout the Church in Glory and Honor to Your Name.

Providence gave us Blessed Father Stanislaus
a successful intercessor before Your throne,
grant us through his intercession the grace
for the family that I am helping,
and for me to be able to help them,
along with those joining me in prayer.

Almighty & most merciful God, we remember before you all poor & neglected persons who would be easy for us to forget: the homeless & the destitute, the elderly & the sick, & all who have no one to care for them. Help us to heal those who are broken in body or spirit, & to turn their sorrow into joy. Grant this, Father for the love of your Son who for our sake became poor, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Make use I implore you, of the particular privilege given to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly (please intercede for me & for the family that I am helping with) and that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever. Divine Jesus, you have said, “Ask, and you shall receive; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you,” behold me kneeling at your feet, filled with a lively faith and confidence in the promises dictated by your Sacred Heart and pronounced by your adorable lips. I come to ask this favor: (Please intercede for me and for the family that I am helping with.)

To whom can I turn if not to you whose Heart is the source of all graces and merits? Where should I seek if not in the treasure which contains all the riches of your kindness and mercy? Where should I knock if not at the door through which God gives himself
to us and through which we go to God? I have recourse to you, Heart of Jesus. In you I find consolation when afflicted, protection when persecuted, strength when burdened with trials, and light in doubt and darkness.

Dear Jesus, I firmly believe that you can grant me the grace I implore, even though it should require a miracle. You have only to will it, and my prayer will be granted. I admit that I am most unworthy of your favors, but this is not a reason for me to be discouraged. You are the God of mercy and you will not refuse a contrite heart. Cast upon me a look of mercy, I beg of you, and your kind Heart will find in my miseries and weaknesses a eason for granting my prayers.

O Sacred Heart, whatever may be your decision with regard to my request, I will never stop adoring, loving, praising, and serving you. My Jesus, be pleased to accept this my act of perfect resignation to the decrees of your adorable Heart which I sincerely desire may be fulfilled by me and by all your creatures forever.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I know that there is but one thing impossible to you: to be without pity for those who are suffering or in distress. Look upon me, I beg of you, dear Jesus, and grant me the grace for which I humbly implore you through the Immaculate Heart of your most sorrowful Mother. You have entrusted me to her as her child, and her prayers are all-powerful with you. Amen.
