Please dear friends, I am asking prayer for a man named Bill Logue. He & His wife Jackie are dear friends of ours.
Jackie refused to have an abortion after finding out she had hodgkins lymphoma. She delivered a healthy baby girl named Hanna After delivery, she started chemo. After her 2nd chemo treatment she found out they were pregnant again. They refused to abort against all advice and had a beautiful normal baby named Hope. That was 8 years ago.
They just found out that Bill has an inoperable brain tumor that will be biopsied on Tuesday, June 15. They are an NFP teaching couple faithful to the Catholic Church and have resigned themselves to God’s Holy Will (whatever that entails.) Please pray for them and send them notes of prayer and encouragement to jackielogue@hotmail.com They can pick them up at the hospital in Sioux Falls. Please pray that God will allow Bill more time here on earth with his family before calling him home. God Bless you all, Lynne

I’ll remember Bill and his family in my prayers as a memorial to my cousin Doug, who had brain cancer for 4 years before he died in October 1987. I’m sure many medical advances have been made since his death.

It’s now June 16th, but God doesn’t live in time. I pray that they can continue to do His will.

I am praying for his health. Please let us know how he’s doing.

A big DITTO to all of the replies here.

May they find strength in God to get through this ordeal

Love Kellie

Just said a quick prayer for him and his family. They sound like an amazing couple. I can relate to them on some level, as my grandma went through a similar ordeal once while my mom was just a teenager and then again just a few years ago. She had many more years after the first bout with a tumor to get to know her grandkids and to find peace with all of her struggles in life.

I will keep them in my prayers. Hope the biopsy went well.

God bless.

St. Peregrine, pray for me and for all who invoke your aid.

Prayer to Saint Peregrine

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.
(Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying)
Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.
Amen.

I will keep Bill and his whole family in my daily prayers

Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, please hear the prayers of this wonderful Catholic family. Please ensure the best medical care for Bill, and grant him full recovery. Be merciful, Father, in the name of Your beloved Son.

"Matthew 6: 9-13“This then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one

I will pray for them now and keep them in my prayers as often as possible.

Lord Jesus, bathe this family with the healing blood of your crucifixion and enable them to witness to the healing power of your divine intervention not only for their own sake, but for those in need of your divine mercy .
