Prayers for a friend struggling with addiction!

I know in the past there have been prayer threads that dealt with people addicted to pornography on the internet. I recently found out that a very good friend of mine has fallen into this addiction. He is married and a very good person. I am not sure how his addiction started or when it started, but as he really tries to reconnect with God his addiction is a huge hurdle that he is struggling to overcome. He is trying to pray again, attend church again, and even participate more actively in the church community. I was talking to him recently and he told me how he so desires to have Christ back in his life. He said is trying everything he possibly can to avoid internet pornography. He said that he has really good weeks where he never goes to the sites. He said, but then he does and it destroys everything he has worked toward in reconnecting with Christ. I am very concerned for him, his marriage, and his soul. I know that Christ forgives and I have been very supportive without being judgmental. I know that Christ also is the answer to overcome this hurdle. I come to you all today as I have so many times with a request for prayers for my friend. Also, I was wondering if any of you had any idea of how to block such sites from the computer. I know that certain internet providers have child protections, but is there someway also to restrict the sites that internet explorer goes to. As always, I am a firm believer in this form for it has gotten me through very tough times. Please pray for my friend.

I believe they talked on that show about some very effective software that can be helpful. Hope that helps.
