Prayers for a job interview

I would appreciate any prayers directed my way to Our Lord and/or the intercession of St. Cajetan (patron of the unemployed), as I go into a sort of final interview tomorrow for a position. I have to do a “working interview,” which means, as far as I can tell, demonstrating I can perform the normal tasks of the position well to the person considering hiring me. I’ve been unemployed for many months now, and my unemployment benefits have all but run out, not to mention I’ve been living with family far too long and need to find some sense of autonomy. Please pray, that if it be the Lord’s Holy Will, that he would guide the thoughts of the interviewer towards hiring me, and also guide my actions and words to demonstrate I’m worthy of the position. However, please also pray that if it is not the Lord’s Holy Will that I should get this job, that he would please console me and guide me to where he wishes me to go.

Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.
