Hello again everyone. This time I’m not going to talk about me. My issues can wait for another time 
.
A missionary priest from Ecuador came to my town (he’s from here, though) to stay during May. He offered the Mass in the parish I attend. He explained to us how earthquakes had devastating consequences as the people he helps (along with two nuns, if I remember correctly) had lost their home. The little money they have left is spent on rebuilding what the powerful earthquakes have destroyed. He also said that his greatest concerns were the kids (in particular girls) whose parents can’t paid them an education right now, since without education many doors are closed to them and delinquency is part of their daily lives on the streets, as well as the lack of access to medicines.
His words were really insightful. One does not often have the opportunity of listening other points of view during Mass. He seemed committed to social causes too. I don’t know if he’s still with us, yet he asked for our prayers and he remarked how he truly believes in their power. I offered some after Spiritual Communion and night prayer time, although maybe I’m not in the soul state of doing anything. I’m not going through a good time neither. If you were kind enough to pray for his petition, missionaries and people living in poor countries or with limited resources, I would be very grateful. You could make a lot more than I am able to do for them.
