Prayers for a near burned-out me

I’ve been very stressed at work and working longer hours and harder than before. I usually tough it out and push through, I welcome an arduous challenge. Just this year though, things have been never ending, “fire” after “fire” I need to constantly have to put out, working longer hours and on weekends. It’s been affecting my state of purity and my levels of patience. Most importantly with my child, I feel out of frustration I take it out on them, and currently feel extremely guilty. I feel I may be getting burned out. Please pray for me to our lord, to grant me patience, perseverance, and the strength to carry on, since only through Him it is possible. Please in your prayers request help from our Holy Mother, St. Lawrence, St. Jude, and St. Benedict for their help as well. Thank you!

May Christ support us all the day long, till the shadows lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over and our work is done. Then in his mercy may he give us a safe lodging, and holy rest and peace at the last.

Prayer for Inner Peace:

Lord, please put Your peace in my heart. I’m worried and anxious. My mind races and obsesses. I can’t help thinking about my problems. And the more I think about them, the more depressed I become. I feel like I’m sinking down in quicksand and can’t get out.

Calm me, Lord. Slow me down, put Your peace in my heart. No matter what problem I have, Lord, You are bigger, You are more powerful than it is. So I bring my problem to You. I know what I want. I know my will.nI do not know Yours. I do not know how You will use this problem for my salvation. I do not know what good You will workout from this evil. But I trust You. I trust Your goodness and Your wisdom.

So I place myself in Your hands.
Please fill my heart with peace.

look upon Radiaz in this time

of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart

to know that God’s Love

for her is unchanging and

unchangeable, and, that

true human love can only

begin and grow by touching

His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -

which this world cannot give

Allow Your healing Hand to heal radiaz. Touch this soul with Your compassion for others; touch their heart with Your courage and infinite Love for all. Touch their mind with Your Wisdom, and may their mouth always proclaim Your praise.

Teach them to reach out to You in all their needs, and help them to lead others to You by this example.

Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring them health in body and spirit that they may serve You with all their strength.

Touch gently this life which you have created, now and forever.
