Prayers for a new home

I don’t know where to start. I feel selfish for even asking for this prayer request.

We need to sell our home(like a milling other people in todays economy)

It has been on the market for several months.

My car has been hit twice on our street(just recently an hr ago)

I have been picking up trash from my neighbors yard because it is a mess because they have a pit bull tied to a tree right next to their trash cans. I just saw a huge rat from their yard coming into ours and come up the rain spout onto our roof. No joke!!I have also been mowing their yard because it is out of control.

My wife is a nervous wreck and is 3 weeks away from our due date with our 2nd child. I will not even mention the rat to her because she already hates the street we live on and I don’t want to stress her out this close to her giving birth again.

Please pray for someone to make an offer on our home. Please pray for me not to do or say something out of line with my neighbors. I am trying my best to keep my cool and I don’t know what to do except ask for someone to pray for us.

Even if our home does not sale please pray that our property will be kept safe. this whole thing with the rat just really blew me away.

St. Joseph, you know the needs of
a family and their home. We ask you to
carry our request to the Father. Help this family
to sell their home quickly. Hold up this father
as he struggles to make the property look as
nice as he can. Assist Tim as he attempts
to keep up his yard and his neighbors. Remove
all rodents from his home and neighborhood.

Tim, there’s no cause to apologise for making any kind of legitimate prayer request, and in fact yours is important as it concerns your own and your family’s welfare. I ask God to help you to survive all the anxiety of trying to sell your home in a difficult market, with the added stresses of your wife’s imminent delivery, and the lack of consideration of neighbours. The truth is that when one is going through a range of problems like you are, one feels there is far too much to even manage to explain to others…I ask God to help you to manage the stresses gracefully as is possble, but to ease them and to allow you and your family to sell you home in favor of a more peaceful neighbourhood.
