Prayers for a restful night

Good evening, everyone.

If you could kindly say a prayer for me, it would be appreciated. My anxiety is back and I had a very bad day. I broke down in church. Many of you who know me, know that I lost my mother three years ago. The mass today just left me a weeping, hysterical mess. I actually had to get up and leave, I was crying so hard. I left and went to the church chapel to compose myself.

I felt really exhausted after it happened, but I had to go back to work and just push through the rest of the day. Now I’m wide awake and kind of agitated.

I greatly appreciate your prayers, and my prayers are with you as well.

God grant you a quiet night and a peaceful sleep.

Lord please give Denise a sense of Your love and of the happiness of her mother. If her mother needed to spend even a moment in purgatory, may her tears today be prayer to release her mother into the joys of heaven.
One thinks of one’s departed loved parents every day. Lord we ask Your consolation for Denise.

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon DeniseNY in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
    And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.

I’m hoping you had a good night’s sleep and if not, at least that God may grant you inner peace and a sense of closure over your mother’s death. Through the intercession of St. Martin de Porres, may God grant you tranquility, strength and deep love. Amen.
