Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Praying for comfort and strength for DesertSister62 and her family, and a swift, just resolution to their legal situation…

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

I want to take this time to thank Dee S, tbcrawford, NeedsMercy, and all the rest of you who have lifted up your hearts in prayer for me and for my family. Through the many prayers offered up, the Lord has reached down and brought a grace into my life that I could not have foreseen! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this blessing that God has given me!

It took a few months but I can truly say that although the pain of David’s passing, in such a violent way, was difficult to deal with, yet through your prayers, God’s grace smoothed the path ahead! It prepared me for what the law had to say about the incident. The proceedings were held this fall and kept secret and then the records were sealed until the ruling was made public late in 2012 . They decided that the officer had done nothing wrong and he is still on duty and still carries a gun.

I know that what is happening to my family is just part of the bigger picture of what is coming against Christians all over the world. Evil is having its day and we will probably see much more of this as time goes by. But I make a commitment to all of you to stand with you in praying for the many suffering souls out there now! This is the first time I have experienced this blessing for myself and the results have been much greater than I could ever have guessed!

What I am coming to, is that I release all of you from praying for my family and encourage you to perhaps reach one more person in lieu of us. Let us reach out in prayer, with renewed strength and courage in an effort to lift up each one that stands in need. We only have so much time, I know, it is the same with me. But we can take what time we have to make a difference in someone else’s life! You interceded for me and the blessings fell from heaven! Let us now go forth and continue to reach out to others!
