Greetings,

I am asking for any one who would to pray for a teacher. I have taught with this person for several years. Recently she has been charged with 3rd degree assault on a student. I can tell you as a teacher myself this is crazy! In no way have I ever seen this person lay a hand on any student other than to move them in or out of line or something to that effect. We are talking about upper elementary students. She is not dealing with the situation well and is very scared. All the while this is happening while she is on vacation with her family.

I advised her to go to Eucharistic Adoration and spend some time with Our Lord. For whatever reason God will use this situation to bring her closer to Himself.

A probable cause statement was issued to have her arrested, but the judge denied it, as insufficient. I can’t believe this is happening!

Her arraignment is August 2nd at 8:30am

Just call her Mrs. M. Please remember her in your prayers and especially during your reception of the Eucharist. Pray not only for her, but for the judge, prosecuting attorney, and the student and family who are filing the charges. I believe they are terribly misguided.

Thank you in advance!

As a teacher myself I know that today we are teaching in a world so much different than when I started and things like this are possible. But with God, all things are possible! I will most definately keep her in my prayers.

Lord, You are Truth. Let Your Light of truth shine in this situation and bring good out of what was meant as evil. In the precious name of Jesus, Your beloved Son. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed
is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Oh, wow. How sad. I hope all turns out well for the teacher, and that truth prevails…

Yeah. Things can be misconstrued…all too easy.

I had a teacher go beyond what he needed to do to help me many years ago, and I’d venture to say he took a hell of a chance (reported possible abuse).

I found out much later-about 4 years later-that this poor man was suspected by some of doing something wrong to me. Nothing could have been further from the truth, and it has bothered me terribly. Thank goodness nothing came of it…it was just rumor, and the worst that happened was a notation on a Philly DHS running record. He possibly was never even aware of the rumor or the notation. Least i hope he wasn’t…
