Prayers for a Troubled Man I Saw on TV

An episode of the A&E show Intervention was on and it featured a transgender man who was one of the worst cases of alcoholism and depression I have ever seen. He seems deeply, deeply troubled and has caused his family much devastation. It was so disturbing and sad to watch that I haven’t been able to get it out of my head. Please pray for this man, Robby, so that he can get the help he needs and his family so that they may find some peace.

I saw that episode too, it was disturbing.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,
which is Love and Mercy itself.
Amen.

I watched a Youtube video film about
a transgendered female which is quite
an uplifting commentary on transsexuals
and ended on a very encouraging note.

O Lord, You are the author and perfector
of our Faith, please give this “man” the
Faith to believe in a Just and Holy God,
and that He can turn His life around… IF
he will just submit to God’s will, which is
Love and Mercy itself!!
