Greetings,

My grades have been failing apart, and it’s leaving me worried. This Spring, I am taking a Calculus III course, a Differential Equations course, and an Engineering course for my major as an Electrical Engineer.

Unfortunately, after last week’s midterms, I became worried about my future for the next eight weeks, and it’s been giving me restless nights that has been affecting other parts of my life. .

The problem is that I am faltering in my understanding of the courses. I am not receiving the help I need to pass the courses, and would like everyone’s prayers.

Please pray that I will find all the help I can muster to pass all three of my courses. Pray that I will find the opportunities to succeed and the help needed to stay on top of my schoolwork. This is an uphill battle for me, but I know that God is with us.

Keep me in your prayers, please.

Signed,

Hi there,
My husband and I both have engineering degrees. Let’s just say we totally understand the challenge you are facing.
I will pray for you.
Go get tutoring. Get it NOW. Most engg schools have formal tutors available. Also if you can find somebody who’s smart in the class to tutor you and show you how to do the problems, that will help, immensely. I used all of these resources and managed to muddle through and even get a grad degree in EE.

In Jesus’ Name, Dear God help this engineering student. Especially help them to persevere in the face of a difficult subject which takes perseverance and mental strength.

St. Joseph, St. Patrick, St. Vincent Ferrer, St. Joseph Cupertino, and St. Jude, please intercede for this person to get some appropriate help and pass their classes. And if for some reason they don’t pass then please help them to get back right up on the horse and keep trying till they do.

Trouble is, I’m at a community college, and there are no tutors for the classes I’m taking. I wish there were, though.

Then ask another student. Ask a professor if there’s some way to get extra help. Usually if you ask enough, people will help you.

I did just that. I’m waiting for another student to help me. The teacher, on the other hand, is unavailable during the evenings, and is extremely unhelpful. That’s what frustrates me.

Speaking of that other student, I won’t get anything back from him until tomorrow. That assignment I’m working on isn’t due until Sunday night at 11:59PM EST. Even so, I still have to study for my Calculus III that’s due next week, and have to play catch up with Engineering.

PS: I’ll update this thread of mine as new information becomes available.

Got some good news: the teacher, earlier today at work, has agreed to set aside time to help me with my struggles in the course next week. Everyone, please continue to pray that I will be able to create a turnaround and reverse fortunes by final exams on May 4, 2018.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

That’s a pretty heavy load for a single semester…
Praying you can manage!

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, AMEN!
