Prayers for a young mother

My friends,
I am asking your prayers for a young mother who has just given birth to her 7th and 8th child! Yes twins!

She went the total 40+ weeks duration without any complications and gave birth without any due complications. Some time after the birth she had a full attack of eclampsia and it now transpires that she suffered some brain damage as a result. there is a small hope that it may over time rectify itself.

She cannot be in the same room as her own children and her husband, a man with outstanding faith, is trying to balance a full time job, a sick wife and 8 children of which 2 are only newborn.

Join with me please in remembering them to the Almighty God.

Dear Lord, we praise you for the gift of life that You have brought into this world. We ask that You quickly heal this mother, so she may provide proper care for her children. Grant peace to the entire family, and comfort them. In Jesus name we pray.

Her husband and children need her dearly. Amen

God, Father of all, we thank You for having blessed this family so abundantly with the gift of life. Bless them for their openness to have children in order to raise them in awe and awareness of Your presence and the gifts You have given us.

Heal and save this young mother, who has dedicated herself to her family and to You in her life’s vocation as a mother and wife. May the Precious Blood of Your beloved Son cover her and wash away her sins, and reverse this brain damage so that she may more fully serve You in fulfilling Your call to be a mother to her children.

Strengthen, encourage, and sustain her husband with Your Holy Spirit as he carries out his duties as a husband, father, and head of their household.

Blessed Virgin Mary, watch over this family in your maternal care and love. Gather the children into your embrace and be their spiritual mother, even as their own biological mother cannot be in the same room with them. Intercede on this family’s behalf, beseech your Son to cure the ailment of the mother and eventually bring them together as a family once more. Amen.
 
Thanks ever so muck folks we know that each and every prayer makes a wonderful difference so please keep her in your thoughts.

The update is that only yesterday the young mother has gone into a psychiatric hospital to convalese. She had 14 convulsions in 3 days and has lost her short terms memory completely. Her blood pressure rose to 280 when it should have been around 140 so we are beginning to see how serious the situation is.
