Prayers for Alcoholics

Please pray for those who are battling alcoholism including some of my family members. Blessed Matt Talbot please intercede for all who struggle with alcoholism.

Thank you Dan, as one who has been there, your prayers will be powerful. I struggled myself for awhile when I was on a certain medication, but after going off of the medicine I haven’t had the same problem with drinking. I will however, always have to be careful with it, so I try to avoid alcohol altogether. I wrote this prayer request just after a I heard a family member of mine calling my name. I went out to find she had fallen and was wedged between a chair and end table. I had to move the furniture to get her out. She falls a lot when drunk (hence the term falling down drunk, I guess). I don’t know how she doesn’t get hurt most of the time. One time she did have a severe injury though. God help her.

Blessed Mother Mary please embrace and liberate your children who suffer from the evil of alcoholism and addiction. Grant them healing and peace.
