Please pray with me for cancer sufferers, as well as their families, that they may be given the physical, emotional, and spiritual strength to withstand their treatment and that they might recover from their illness if it is G-d’s will.

St. Luke, pray for all who face cancer and their families and medical staff.

Lord, we love you and trust in you,
but sometimes we just don’t understand.
We sit in fear sometimes, and worry. We want to know why.

But if we only knew Lord, how much you love us. If we only knew.

Lord we lift up today, all those who have had the paralyzing words said to us. You have cancer, I’m sorry. Or been the wife, mother, daughter, husband of that person.

Bring us that wonderful peace that is beyond understanding. And if it is your will, Lord, to heal them, Hear our Prayer for Healing. If it is your will, Lord, to bring them home, give us the peace to stand by them right until their last breath.

Jesus, I trust in you.

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (all those suffering from cancer). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into all those suffering from cancer’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for all those suffering from cancer, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
