Please pray for Andy, who is an elderly homeless man. Recently he has been experiencing serious health problems. (He is neither an alcoholic nor a drug user.) He checked into a local hospital, but after being unable to determine what is wrong with him and realizing that being homeless he cannot afford to pay for medical treatment, they have discharged him. For the time being he has a place to stay, but this is temporary. His health problems continue to plague him.
 
Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Prayer for Healing

Almighty loving God, look upon Andy with eyes of mercy. I beg you to send him an advocate who will fight for his access to Medicaid and permanent housing. I beseech you to rest your healing hand rest upon him. May your life-giving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the depths of his soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength for service in your Kingdom. I ask this through Christ Our Lord, amen.

Prayers for Andy for continued shelter and safety. I would wonder if being homeless he would not qualify for some medical aid for medical treatment by some state or federal program. I hope someone has helped him with that.

If he continues to have serious health problems I hope he will go to an Emergency Room where he cannot be refused treatment in my state at least.

I pray for Andy and all homeless.
