Was a tough day yesterday…had some mini panic attacks…felt really nasty anxiety. When I feel that way…I call it my “dead man walking” feeling. Quite simply-sadness, despair, fear, loneliness, and just a real desire for the pain to go away in whatever way possible. Sometimes I even hope that when I go to sleep…I simply just will slip silently away. I’m glad I don’t have those feelings often and fortunately they don’t last too long and perspective kicks in.
Spent a few minutes sitting in a quiet church…it often helps. I looked into the eyes of Jesus on a painting of the Divine Mercy…I felt so unworthy that I had to look away.
Am feeling a bit better now. Am worried about our future…selling our house…paying off my bills…taking care of my kids. I know it’ll all work out…just tough when everything feels overwhelming.
I do know I am loved and cared about by my family, by God, by Jesus, by Mary. Just trying to make sure I keep that top of mind vs. the pain, worry, and despair that creeps in.
Your prayers are appreciated…thanks for all your support
