My aunt was recently diagnosed with MS - she’s in her 40s, and already having a heard time walking. To make matters worse, she has my (adorable) 2-year old cousin to watch over, and a semi-absent, workaholic husband. She has a lot on her plate. Please keep her in her prayers - for both physical healing, and that she comes back to the Church as a practicing Catholic.

Jesus I ask You to respond mercifully to our prayers for this mother and her family. Please give her and her husband all the graces necessary for mutual support, and for care of their child.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

With my prayers. My father’s cousin developed MS shortly after joining the Sisters of Mercy and lived with it for many years.

I am praying very hard for your aunt and her family, specifically that God will give them the strength to adapt to living with her disease. I am also praying for her physical healing and spiritual healing, and based on my personal experience with having a relative with MS, I will pray that the disease doesn’t change her personality, which would cause a lot of tension in her family.

The power of prayer!

My aunt just called my house tonight…she said that she knows she has hit rock bottom, but what’s wonderful is it seems like she’s turning back to God! She was very open to prayer suggestions and, amazingly enough, wants to make a pilgrimage to ask for healing.

It’s amazing how good can be worked through such difficult times.

Again, thank you all so much for your prayers!

It’s good to hear your encouraging news …
Continued prayers! 🙂
