The family is asking for prayers- Bailey is going back on the vent today. Please click on the link in the original post to see pictures and read her parent’s journal.

Please Jesus, help little Bailey Rose to thrive; and please help her parents to get through this anxious time with hope and peace. God bless this little girl.
I’ll pary for them at Mass in around an hour.

We also had a preemie 27 years ago.
Bailey will be in my prayers that she will overcome any weakenesses or medical problems, and live a healthy, happy life.
*Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. I have a niece that was born very premature, I don’t remember how far along she was but she weighed closer to one pound than two whe she was born. The doctors were not very encouraging but I remember they had a really good group of nurses that were encouraging. She had a couple of operations, they thought she might be blind. But she was a fighter and went through all the trials with God’s help. She is fine today in 5 or 6th grade.
