Prayers for baby, Mary Catherine

A co-worker of mine (who also is a member of our parish) and his wife had their first baby on Saturday. Baby Mary Catherine has holes in her little heart and the pulmonary artery and something else are reversed. She will be having surgery to repair her little heart later this week - maybe as early as tomorrow. Please keep her and her parents in your prayers. She has been Baptised.
 
Heavenly Father, watch over the surgery of baby Mary Catherine, that her afflictions be healed, that she come to good health and a prosperous and fruitful life in Your grace. Amen. :signofcross:
 
I have added your prayer request to my blog. I am praying right now in the name of Jesus for healing of this beautiful child and that he may grant comfort and strength to her family.

Lord this little baby needs your healing touch right now . Baby MaryCatherine needs you to heal her heart and her lungs . Lord touch her and heal her . Lord let her surgery be a total success and let her have a full life blessed by you Lord . thanks for doing this Lord, in the name of Jesus, amen . Keeping little Mary Catherine in daily prayer that The Lord will restore her to health and a long and happy life. Keeping her parents and all concerned at this time in prayer also along with Mary Catherine’s surgeon and medical team…
 
Mary Catherine was finally able for surgery on Tuesday. When they got in, they discovered staph infection which means the blood would not clot and the docs could not stop the bleeding. They gave her 4 blood transfusions. Tuesday night, her blood pressure dropped. Docs had to do chest compressions. They discovered her right ventricle wasn’t pumping. At 2am, Wednesday for reasons the docs can’t explain, blood pressure normalized, blood clotted, bleeding stopped, ventricle began pumping again. Obviously, the big Doc upstairs decided to take care of things. Thanks to you all for your prayers for this sweet family. She will be in ICU for about a week. God is good.
