Prayers for Biopsy

Hi friends, I had two moles removed yesterday for biopsy as they presented concerning signs. My father had melanoma seven years ago (which was caught in its earliest stage and removed - Thank God!). I’m a good candidate with for melanoma considering my family history, fair skin, tanning in my teens and early twenties (I know…). I’m asking for prayers that my biopsies will return with favorable results, especially since I’m 22 weeks pregnant and will not be able to receive proper treatment. Also, asking for prayers for my anxiety as my results will not return for two more weeks. I’m one of those people who’s already looked up every single worst-case scenario statistic and convinced myself that I’m dying. Please pray for me! Thank you!

Prayer for the Apprehensive Patient

Christ said to His loved ones: I am with you, fear not, be not anxious. May I, then, be confident that in the trials and crosses of my life that You, O Lord, will be my constant companion. Whenever I cannot stand, You will carry me lovingly in Your arms. May I have no fear of what may happen tomorrow. For the same Eternal Father Who cares for me today will take care of me tomorrow and everyday of my life. You, O Lord, will either shield me from suffering or give me strength to bear it patiently. May I be at peace, then and put aside all useless thoughts, anxieties, and worries.
