Prayers for Brother-in-Law with Bleeding in Brain

Praying for John’s recovery…

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
 
Dear Jesus, John needs you very much right now. If You so desire, Lord, You can heal Him. Look with kindness on Your servent, John and grant him a full recovery. Amen :gopray:
 
Here is the latest update. First of all thank you from the bottom of our hearts and souls for all of you that have posted your prayers and those that just look and pray. Your prayers are working and John seems to be doing better. The doctors including the head of neurology are pleased with his progress. Some of the family are impatient with his recovery but even small insults to the brain can have longer lasting results than they would like. The great part is talking with him on the phone. He sounds like “his old self”. He will probably remain in the hospital for awhile longer for continued observation and some more tests as they still don’t know the cause and do not want a repeat.

God bless you all for your continued prayers and we pray for all you daily when we gather. Thank you again.

Very happy to read that John seems to be improving and will continue to keep him in prayer…
 
Here is an update on John. It appears that the life threatening aspects of initial event seems to be fading. He is still in the hospital and being monitored in the neurological ward of the hospital, but he is walking and talking and sounds more like his old self. He also seems to recognize the he is a bit off kilter, as he is experiencing some short-term memory loss. There may be some other peripheral cognitive loss that we hope are temporary but we won’t know until he gets evaluated or they just come up. We are still waiting for a release date from the hospital.

My prayers are for clear concise release orders from the doctors, so John will not try to run a marathon the first day he is released 🙂 ; for continued healing for John’s whole body; for John’s fiancé, Sarah who has been at his side and who has been a fine advocate and will be a great wife to him; and finally for our family for comfort.

Thank you again for all of you that have been praying, it has made such a difference in his recovery and a difference to our family. God bless you all.

Lord, we thank you for your loving aide in John’s recovery, for it is through your love and mercy that he has come so far! May you continue to pour out your blessings upon him and his family as he prepares to leave the hospital. May he be fully restored to health, with a speedy recovery. May his family rest peacefully as they put their faith in you, and your divine will in John’s life.

Thank you all for your prayers. John has finally made it home for the beginning of his convalescence at home and reentry into work and his life. As far as what we have been able to glean from our conversations with them; he is sleeps a lot during the day, which is to be expected; he is experiencing some short-term memory loss, also expected; his cognitive evaluation came back with the good news that there was no long-term damage and that it may take six months or longer for John to recover.

Again thank you so much for your prayers. I ask for continued prayers. First that this does not repeat as they do not know what cause the bleed initially, secondly, to pray for patience for John as his body and brain heals (he was really active and is going to have to go in slow mode which may be hard for him), thirdly, for his fiancé Sarah that she can keep up her stamina in caring for him and lastly for the family that they will be understanding and loving and patient.

You all are in our prayers as is our Holy Father as he visits us here in the U.S.
