I’m not sure if I got his sobriquet correct. Some of you will no doubt know him. He has not posted in a while, and given he is a three-time cancer survivor, I am concerned that he may be ill or may have succumbed to his illness.

Please offer whatever prayers you can for him.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Po33guy). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Po33guy’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Yes, he came to my mind this past week and upon checking his profile saw it’d been a month since his last post. Please God may the be alright.

I, too, have been wondering. Thank you, @meltzerboy2, for this thread.

Wherever you are, @po18guy, know that we’re thinking of you and praying for you from our hearts. As you’ve shown us over and over again, we trust in Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to nurture you.

Part of my absence is explained by receiving a suspension when (I’m guessing) an apparent cancel culture member was offended. My sin was to post my honest opinion, which coincidentally, agrees with that of Niger Innis, the national spokesman for the Congress of Racial Equality.


For perspective, this interview was 5 years ago. I have more to say, but…

I’m so sorry that you, too, were suspended without the mods first asking why you wrote what you wrote, then trying to be as fair as Catholic teaching exhorts us all to be. I know several who seldom participate now because of the bias that is so apparent.

I’m delighted to see you back, and shall keep you in my prayers. May the Holy Family continue to watch over you!

We all need to set up some way of notifying a friend or two on the forum if we get suspended and have a hidden profile. Like, have someone’s e-mail or social media on file. Otherwise people don’t know what happened to you.
