My good friend and co-worker just learned that her sister Celia has stage 3 Lung & Kidney Cancer. Please help pray for Celia who begins aggressive chemotherapy tomorrow.

Lord Our Savior and Merciful Healer of the sick. We ask that You watch over our sister Celia during her time of illness and send her Your healing Grace upon her and comfort her loved ones around her during this difficult time.
We ask this through Christ Jesus, AMEN.

SAINT JUDE, GLORIOUS APOSTLE, FAITHFUL SERVANT AND FRIEND OF JESUS, THE NAME OF THE TRAITOR HAS CAUSED YOU TO BE FORGOTTEN BY MANY. BUT THE CHURCH HONORS AND INVOKES YOU UNIVERSALLY AS THE PATRON OF DIFFICULT AND DESPERATE CASES. PRAY FOR ME WHO AM SO MISERABLE. MAKE USE, I IMPLORE YOU, OF THAT PARTICULAR PRIVILEGE ACCORDED TO YOU TO BRING VISIBLE AND SPEEDY HELP WHERE HELP WAS ALMOST DESPAIRED OF. Hello to Johnny on Long Island:
I will pray for Cecelia. My family has been decimated by lung cancer, and she really needs prayers. I hope the Tarceva drug can give her more years. My sister loved it. Chemo sucks. She will need many prayers, and I’ll pray for her right now.:o
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Celia. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Celia’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
 
O great Saint Peregrine, you who bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease, and were favored with the vision of Jesus Christ coming down from his cross to heal your affliction, ask of God and our Lady, the cure of these sick people whom we entrust to you.

Please pray and intercede for Celia…

Aided by your intercessions, we praise God and give thanks for his kindness and mercy. Amen
 
My daughter is named Celia as well.

We will pray that God’s will is done. We will also pray that all a granted the necessary clarity and wisdom to hear and answer his call

The Lord sustains them on their sickbed
and restores them from their bed of illness.
 
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick, we turn to You in this time of illness. 0 dearest Comforter of the Troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant Celia to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your Holy Will and know that whatsoever You do, You do for the love of us.
