Please pray for our family and our childcare providers. I’m hoping that our ‘old’ sitter (that we’ve used from the beginning for the last 8 years) will agree to take our 4yo back this fall and accept our 1yo too. We are having issues with our new sitter (who watches the younger 2) taking off too many days which really causes a hardship for us. DH and I simply cannot take the time off work and even though it always works out, it really puts us in a bind and it’s becoming too frequent.

Our ‘old’ sitter wasn’t able to take our 4yo when he came along b/c she had to start using a walker to get around and couldn’t care for him till he started walking. I’m hoping now that our youngest is walking, she’ll be able to take him, esp since she’ll have our 4yo to help. It would also be more convenient for me to have them with her b/c she’s just a few blocks from my office and it would save me having to drive across town twice a day to get my 4yo to/from pre-k. Besides that, all the kids she watches (just ours and one other family) will be in school and the little ones could keep her company. She’s never driven since we started with her and has always been homebound, so I know she enjoys having them around. She has always been good to us.

Thanks for your prayers.

Praying for your intentions.

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession and was left forsaken. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, a sorrowful sinner. Despise not my words, O Mother of the Word, but in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen

May the Holy Spirit guide you through this situation.

O Holy Spirit
soul of my soul
I adore you.
Enlighten
guide,
strengthen and console me.
Tell me what I ought to do
and command me to do it.
I promise to submit to everything
that you ask of me
and to accept all
that you allow to happen to me.
Just show me what is your will.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou amongst women,
and Blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.
