Loving God,

We come before you today and ask for your mercy and blessings for the dear people of Chile who are suffering greatly with the effects of these natural disasters on their home land. We pray for the repose of the souls of all who have died, and hope and pray they may be joined with you in your heavenly home. We also pray for those who have lost loved ones, lost their homes, and who are suffering from despair and anxiety during this enormous trial and challenge in their lives. Please grant strength, courage, strong faith, and hope in your divine providence to them, dear Lord. We pray for those who are serving your people in distress- in rescue teams, rebuilding teams, distribution of aid, and in spiritual support - please continue to bless and strengthen these people who carry your love to the afflicted people in Chile.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
