Claire had a stroke yesterday. They’re not being very
positive about her recovery . Sunday is her 79th birthday . She may not be able to talk, swallow , move. Please pray that she will get loving care , and the Sacraments and that God’ s will be done if He decides to heal her or take her home .:signofcross:
 
Praying for her recovery.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be, world without end.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Claire. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Claire’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

I’m sorry to hear of this I will pray that the health care workers are caring and competent.
May God be with those who care about her that they may have the strength needed to cope with this no matter what the outcome.

Most charming and saintly Physician, you were animated by the heavenly Spirit of love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed His divinity and His genuine compassion for all human beings. Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.

St. Joseph, intercede for Claire. If it be God’s will, help Claire to live and recover fully from this stroke! However, if she is close to death, be with her at her death. In either case, help her to live and die with Jesus and Mary near her as they were near you in both. Amen.

Remove the sudden fear that befalls them.
Endow them with courage in the struggle
to recover what has been lost.
Grant them strength and hope
to envision new days ahead
and a spirit of faith
to take the risk of living fully

Claire is getting loving care. Yesterday she was sent to Rehab. She can swallow when fed, not talking yet , but managed to smile.
