prayers for contrition

What would be the best prayers for contrition before going to confession? I’m saying the sorrows of Mary rosary and I think maybe the Chaplet of divine mercy might be good. Can’t always say it at 3 o’clock though.

It includes souls in purgatory but also is a prayer for sinners.

The one I do, in Spanish, is slightly different, same idea.
