Prayers for Deacon Robbie

Please pray for a friend of mine in the Philippines, Deacon Robbie. In the past 2 weeks he has lost his mom and is on the verge of losing her house. This has shaken him so much , he has decided to leave the diaconate program for the priesthood. I am praying that things turn around for him and that he reconsiders his decision. He is truly in a dark night of the soul.

I prayed that our Heavenly Mother Mary help keep him comforted in Christ through the loss of his mother. I will do my best to remember to keep him in my prayers! :signofcross:

Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Deacon Robbie), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

I am reminded of the verse in “Amazing Grace”
the Great Hymn:
“Thru many dangers, toils and SNARES,
I have ALREADY come,
t’was Grace that LED me safe THUS FAR,
and Grace will LEAD ME HOME!”.
May Deacon Robbie look at this TRIAL
of Faith as ANOTHER step in his formation
as a deacon/priest and TRUST that God
is still LEADING him as his Shepherd!!
(His mother, God rest her soul, will want
to see him finish what he has started and
NOT be undone by what happened when
she passed away and lose her house.)
