Hi, All.

I see the dermatologist Friday for my annual skin check. It’s always stressful for me, since my mother had malignant metastatic melanoma. I’m trying not to worry about it too much, but it’s hard.

If you could please spare a prayer for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all and God Bless

Praying for you to have good findings from your Doctor’s appt.

Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so join us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed. Amen.

Joining in prayers for you for a good outcome from your appointment. Sorry to hear about your mother.

Mary.

Lord Jesus take pity on your servant, you said that those who take delight in the Lord will be granted their hearts desire. You know their wants, needs, and desires. You hear their prayers and know what they are most in need of, Lord I pray that you will answer them in accordance with your will and let your will be done in every area of their life. Amen

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to her assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal DeniseNY. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into DeniseNY’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon DeniseNY in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
Our Lady of Mental Peace,
  • Pray for us!
    Amen.
Jesus, Help Me!

In every need let me come to You with humble trust,
saying:
Jesus, help me!
In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations:
Jesus, help me!
In hours of loneliness, weariness and trials:
Jesus, help me!
In the failure of my plans and hopes, in disappointments,
troubles and sorrows:
Jesus, help me!
When others fail me, and Your Grace alone can assist me:
Jesus, help me!
When I throw myself on Your tender Love as Savior:
Jesus, help me!
When my heart is cast down by failure, at seeing no good
come from my efforts:
Jesus, help me!
When I feel impatient, and my cross irritates me:
Jesus, help me!
When I am ill, and my head and hands cannot work and
I am lonely:
Jesus, help me!

Always, always, in spite of weakness, falls and short-
comings of every kind:
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, help me and never forsake me!

Amen

Hi, everyone. Thank you for your prayers. My appointment went ok. I do have one issue which requires some follow up. Even after continual reassurances from the doctor that this is not the same thing that my mother had,and is not related; I still have doubts in my mind and I feel myself falling into a spiral of worry and obsessive thoughts. I’m trying very hard not to, but I don’t know that I’ll be able to control it (I haven’t really been successful in the past). I’m praying a lot; not just for a good doctor’s report but also that I can trust God enough to stop the obsessive thoughts and to trust in what the doctor has already told me.

If you could please pray for help for me in this, I would appreciate it.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

It’s the devil trying to put fear into your life,
thru the STORM that you are presently ex-
periencing, look to Jesus, the only one who
NEVER changes, and call out loud: “Jesus,
Son of the living God, have mercy on me a
sinner!” and try to pray, indeed the Spirit who
abides with you and is IN you is WILLING to
pray!!! see John 14:17

Hail holy queen, Mother of mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope,
to you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve,
to you do we lift up our sighs, mourning and weeping
in this Valley of Tears. Turn, them most gracious Advocate,
your eyes of mercy towards us, and after this our exile,
show to us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus,
O clement, O loving, O kind Virgin Mary!
Amen.

Thank you for the prayers!

I want to tell you that although I still have some anxiety (I’ll get a call from the doctor this week), it has not been overwhelming. I was really worried on Friday that I would be a nervous wreck this weekend… and I wasn’t!

Again, thank you for the prayers! They are greatly, greatly appreciated!

Denise,

Glad to hear you’re doing ok.

Thanks for the update,

God bless,

Mary.

Prayer to St. Luke:

Most charming and saintly Physician, you were animated by the heavenly Spirit of love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed His divinity and His genuine compassion for all human beings. Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.

Amen.

I pray that the doctor will have some GOOD news
for you and that you will chalk this up as a test of
your faith!

Remember, O gracious Virgin Mary,
that never has it been known that anyone
who has fled to you for protection, implored your
help or sought your intercession was left unaided,
Inspired by this confidence, we fly to YOU O Virgin
of virgins, Our Mother. To you we come, before you
we stand, SINFUL and sorrowful, O Mother of the
Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions, but in
your mercy, hear and answer us.
Amen.
