Prayers for Employment (August 2017 Update) *~Very Urgent~*

Hello All.

I hope you are doing well.

I have some difficult news to report.

**Intention # 1: **

I was informed by the staffing agency that my temporary job has ended and my services are no longer needed. The staffing agency gave me very short notice. I don’t have anything lined up and is unemployed again despite that I have been trying very dilgently to find employment, especially permanent employment.

Please pray for me to find employment as it has been very difficult for me, especially for an individual who graduated from university one year ago.

**Intention # 2: **

Tuesday August 8, 2017 and the week of August 7, 2017 marks exactly one-year that I embarked on my job search in finding employment opportunities in the television news field/journalism field at smaller market television news stations (this includes public access channels and public television. I have also tried newspapers and public radio) throughout the United States. I have since not found a job in my field. This has been incredibly very stressful, challenging, and significially very difficult. There are no freelancing, contracting, volunteering, and internship opportunities in my area.

I have applied to several jobs in the hundreds (400 and beyond) and gotten over 40 interviews, been a finalist, but no job offer. I keep my interview skills and resume up to par among other related job searching requirements. I don’t know if I will ever obtain my first television news job in the television news industry. There is uncertainity. I realize that I need help as I can no longer do this solely on my own. My classmates and alumni from university are moving up in life and the world, but not me. Please pray for me to find employment in my field.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.
