please pray for my daughter. she is in pharmacy school and has a major exam in anatomy next tuesday. your prayers would be most appreciated.

Kate, I ask the Lord to give your daughter confidence and peace in facing her exams, and in sitting them. Please God, all will go well for her now and always.

thank you everyone for your prayers. the beginning of each semester is always stressful , as my daughter needs to feel out her professors and what they expect of her. it’s also very difficult because she is soooo conscientious and really wants to be the best she can can be. she feels that she needs to do right by the public and wants to do her best serving them in the future.

i just received a call from my daughter and she is so stressed over this exam. any prayers anyone prays will be most appreciated. first exams of the semester are always so rough.

Praying from Tuesday’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions

God gives the happiness of praising him this morning and so gives us a firmer hope in him. Let us trustingly pray:
  • For the glory of your name, hear us, O Lord.
We give you thanks, God and Father of Jesus our Saviour:
for the immortality you have granted us through him.
Give us the gift of humility,
so that we may be subject to one another in the fear of the Lord.
Fill us, your servants, with your Spirit:
may our brotherly love not be a pretence.
You commanded man to labour and thereby rule the world
grant that our labours may celebrate your name and give holiness to our brethren.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

thank you all for your prayers. My daughter got an A on her exam.
Prayer is powerful and its good to have friends like you. Don’t ever hesitate to call on me for prayers.

Thank you for all your prayers. I hate to be asking for more, but my daughter has some exams, quizzes, etc. throughout this week and I am asking for you intercession again. I know that there are other requests that are by far, more important, but we all have different needs and we all care about our children. Please continue to keep her in your prayers this week.
