Dear St. Monica,

Troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant to us that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for us, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear our pleas
for all non practicing Catholics and those
discerning conversion to Catholicism.

Lord, I lift up especially my family members who
have strayed from becoming the best version of
themselves by not participating fully in your Holy
Church, and also for the family members of my
friends who desire the same for their loved ones.

Please grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.

In your precious name, I pray for the strengthening of the Catholic faith in my fallen away family and friends, and for the return to your blessed Church of all lapsed and non-practicing Catholics, for the strengthening and return of your Catholic flock of sheep to you, our Divine Shepherd, and to your divinely ordained Holy Catholic Church.
Amen.
 
ord, I want my husband and my sons
to know and love You as I do.
I worry, Lord, what paths
they may take
without the wisdom of your
Church to guide the way.

I know this is a journey they each have
to make alone, Lord,
but it’s hard for me to let go.

Help me, Lord, to surrender my fears to You.
Help me to place them totally in your hands.
Help me to remember that even when
they pull away from You
that You are never away from them.

Help me to respond with patience and wisdom
to their journey, Lord.
Help me to be gentle and understanding.
Help me to find the right ways to
encourage them, Lord,
and to speak to them through my example.
Help them never to forget that the doors
of the Church,
like a mother’s arms,
are always open to them.

I offer You the Most Precious Body, Blood,

in atonement for my sins
and the sins of my family.

cleanse my family line of every stain of sin,
and remove every evil influence.

Immaculate Mother Mary,
Please crush the head of the serpent
in the life of each member of my family,
and work your miracles of grace in each soul.
Please hold each member of my family (and me)
in your Immaculate Heart.
