Dear St. Monica,

Troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant to us that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for us, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear our pleas
for all non practicing Catholics and those
discerning conversion to Catholicism.

Lord, I lift up especially my family members who
have strayed from becoming the best version of
themselves by not participating fully in your Holy
Church, and also for the family members of my
friends who desire the same for their loved ones.

Please grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.

Amen.

O Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus, and in the power and authority of the Holy Spirit,
with the knowledge of Your will,
I ask that You fill my family and all CAF members who have
fallen away from the faith with the knowledge of Your will
through ALL spiritual wisdom and understanding.
Enlighten this precious child of Yours, dear Lord!
Teach this dear one to live in a manner that is worthy of You,
so as to be fully pleasing to You,
full of good works bearing good fruits and ever growing in knowledge of You.
Strengthen this lost lamb, dear Lord,
with every power of Your Holy Spirit,
in accordance with Your might, for all endurance and patience,
with joy, giving thanks to You O Father!
Make Your child fit to share in the inheritance of the holy ones in the Light.
Deliver this beloved one from the power of darkness
into the kingdom of Your Beloved Son, Jesus,
and transfer them into the kingdom of Your Beloved Son, Jesus,
in whom is redemption and the forgiveness of sins.
Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
In your precious name, I pray for the strengthening of the Catholic faith in my fallen away family and friends, my sister and my children, and for the return to your blessed Church of all lapsed and non-practicing Catholics, for the strengthening and return of your Catholic flock of sheep to you, our Divine Shepherd, and to your divinely ordained Holy Catholic Church.
Amen

A PRAYER FOR RELATIVES, FRIENDS AND ENEMIES

Jesus, Son of Mary, we pray for all who are near and dear to us. We beg You to bring them all into the light of Your truth, or to keep them in Your truth if they already know it, and to keep them in a state of grace, and to give them the gift of perseverance.
Thus we pray for our fathers and our mothers, for our children, for our brothers and sisters, for our friends, for our neighbours, for our superiors and rulers; for those who wish us well, for those who wish us ill; for our enemies; for our rivals; for our injurers and for our slanderers. And not only for the living, but for the dead, who have died in the grace of God, that He may shorten their time of expiation, and admit them into His Presence above.
Amen.
( Bl. John Henry Newman)

Prayer to St. Agnes

O singular example of virtue, glorious Saint Agnes, by the living faith which animated thee from thy tenderest years, and rendered thee so pleasing to God that thou didst merit the martyr’s crown: obtain for us the grace to keep our holy faith inviolate within us, and to profess ourselves Christians sincerely in word and work; may our open confession of Jesus before men cause Him to bear a favorable witness to us before His eternal Father.
Amen.

St. Agnes, pray for all our family and friends who have fallen away.

The St Joseph Prayer
to Obtain a Conversion

O glorious patriarch St. Joseph, who merited to be called "just’ by the Holy Ghost, I urgently recommend to the soul of my husband and children, which Jesus redeemed at the price of His Precious Blood.

Thou knowest how deplorable is the state and how unhappy the life of those who have banished this loving Savior from their hearts, and how greatly they are exposed to the danger of losing Him eternally. Permit not, I beseech thee, that a soul so dear to me should continue any longer in its evil ways; preserve it from the danger that threatens it; touch the heart of the prodigal child and conduct him back to the bosom of the fondest of fathers. Abandon him not, I implore thee, till thou hast opened to him the gates of the Heavenly city, where he will praise and bless thee throughout eternity for the happiness which he will owe to thy powerful intercession. Amen.

A Prayer to St. Monica, for Lost Souls

Sainted mother of Augustine the sinner, the Lord Jesus mercifully regarded your tears. The conversion of your son to a genuinely holy life was the fruit of your prayers. From the heights of your heavenly home, happy mother of your saintly son, pray for those who wander far from God and add your prayers to those of all parents who sorrow over the straying souls of their sons or daughters. Pray for us that, following your example and that of all God’s children, we may at length enjoy the eternal vision of our Father in Heaven. Amen.
