We just received word that a dear priest friend of our daughter and SIL has taken a turn for the worse, after the discovery last week of lung cancer that has metastasized. He has been a wonderful spiritual guide to many young people, especially in Indiana, and I’d like to request your prayers for this good priest. Thanks.

I’ll remember Fr Don in my prayers and Masses.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen
 
Fr. Don passed away earlier this evening. He will be greatly missed by his many family members and friends. Thank you for your prayers; he was a wonderful, faithful priest.
 
Jesus, thank You for Fr Don’s life of worship, prayer, and service of others’ souls and needs. Please welcome him joyfully into Your presence.
Please flood Your blessings and comfort upon all who love or care for him. Let the good things he did and sought to do, live on and bear fruit in their lives.

Thank you all.

Fr. Don passed away just after his whole family gathered in his room, and while some of his many friends were at adoration, praying for him.

I imagine his funeral in Indiana will be huge; he was much loved.
