Update: Doctors have again decided not to implant the pacemaker. Tonight, Glenn says that they intend to send him home, now saying he doesn’t need it. Yet, he was initially taken an hour by ambulance because he did need it? No family members have been able to talk to the doctors, even by phone, and Glenn, even when well, is not the kind of person to question a doctor. Since he’s believed the pacemaker would prevent him from fainting again, he’s very discouraged, as is everyone else. No word about his COVID-19 status, either, but sending him home surely means he won’t now impair others? It appears that the doctors have decided that he’s too old to bother with. Multiply his precarious condition by thousands and the reality is staggering. May you all be rewarded for your prayers for others. Thank you.

@Minks- I don’t even know what say… This is so sad. I’m sorry. I will continue to keep him and his family in my prayers.

Watch, O Lord,
with those who wake,

and give Your angels and saints
charge over those who sleep.
Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest Your weary ones.

Bless Your dying ones.

Please heal all who are ill and return to us the opportunities to share in the sacrifice of the Mass and to receive the sacraments, so that we may once again be absolved of our repented sins and nurtured by You in the Holy Eucharist. Heal everyone across the globe and inspire us all to honor, and to bring honor, to You and Our Heavenly Father through the Holy Spirit, in our thoughts, words, and deeds, so that we may be a beacon to the rest of God’s children, calling them to You and the Catholic Church by our examples.

Please unscramble the world and return a semblance of order to mankind so that our priorities are aligned with Yours and we will all one day know the bliss of eternity with You and Our Father. Please restore the livelihoods of Your different peoples in their different nations across the world, so that individuals and the economies of their nations will thrive. Oh, Lord, please spare us the deep grief of losing our loved ones and our incomes, and, please, Oh, Lord, if this virus be the engineered political instrument of wicked men to bring about new government that will control Your people, limit their freedom, and prevent worshipping you through reception of the sacraments and participation in the sacrifice of the Mass, then please undo that terrible wrong. Please help us to keep trusting You and praying in order that we may think and say and do what is Your Will in this uncharted wilderness. In Your Name, Dear Jesus, do I petition You.
