Prayers for help with finals

[invisiblewitnes]

Hi everyone,

Finals are starting this week at my college, and I wanted to ask for prayers for all the students, that we study well before the exams and do well when we take them. I, in particular, am taking a computer science course and a literature course. I would ask for prayers that I perform well on the tests and retain everything in memory that I need to do both finals well. Thank you for prayers for students and the professors too.

God bless you all… Amen.

I’m praying. A good saint to pray to is St. Joseph of Cupertino, patron saint of test takers. I asked his intercession during my exams & they turned out well. Also you could pray to St. Gemma Galgani.

By the way, I can’t help but say, now that I’m reminded, that if you ever get the time after your tests watch the movie The reluctant saint based on the life of St. Joseph of Cupertino, it’s wonderful. it hits the point on true humility and I felt a bit closer with the saint.

For clarity of mind, focus, and success on finals.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven,
hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

Prayer Before an Examination

Dear Lord, as I take this exam, I thank you that my value
Is not based on my performance, but on your great love for me.
Come into my heart so that we can walk through this time together.
Help me, not only with this test, but the many tests of life that are sure to come my way.
As I take this exam, bring back to my mind everything I studied
and be gracious with what I have overlooked.
Help me to remain focussed and clam, confident in the facts and in my ability,
and firm in the knowledge that no matter what happens today you are there with me. Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.
