Please remember conservative Catholic journalist Joe Sobran in your prayers. He has been in declining health for the last couple of years and may now be just days away from death. He will receive Extreme Unction tomorrow.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph assist him now and in his last agony.
 
Prayers for Joe Sobran, including prayers of Thanksgiving for him/his writings. He wrote a wonderful piece once re: the unsung parish priest who goes about his duties faithfully and is available to hear confessions from the common-man . . . Joe’s confession after a long absence. Thank you for posting this info. about a good man.
 
This is terrible news. I had the pleasure of meeting Joe in 2000 and have always enjoyed his writings.

I always enjoyed, and appreciated, his writings and just realized that I haven’t seen any for some time.

notredame_999, No link as I read this maybe 20+ yrs ago. I will look. Why did J.Sobran leave National Review?
 
For the last few months I had searched for articles from him. I didn’t know he was sick!

I will be praying for him–a fine writer and an unsung champion of the Catholic Faith!

I loved his columns in the Wanderer. He has shaped my view of politics more than anyone else. He was Bill buckley’s right hand man for 20 years. I’ll pray for him.
