Hello CAF friends:

Please pray for my daughter. She’s 15. Last night, I inadvertently found a letter to God (more a prayer) while organzing some things for her. In it, she told God how she wanted to do things right and have people like her for her (she’s made mistakes with boys in the past). Then, she expressed how lonely she’s been. It broke my heart reading it.

Her grades have suffered and she’s had a lot of personal heartache (friends betraying her, didn’t make a sports team) this year. In the larger scheme of things I know these aren’t earth shattering issues, but I know she feels sad and defeated.

Please pray that she will find some peace and some quality people/activities to help her enjoy her life a bit more.

Thank you all and God bless.

Lord, please shower this young woman with friendship. Remove her loneliness by leading her to things that will bring her true friends instead of false ones. Lead her to activities that will bolster her feelings of self-worth and allow her to grow into a confident woman. Help her realize that these feelings are all a part of growing up and that eventually, they will pass.

I ask also Lord, that you guide her mother and enable her to find the words that will soothe and have a positive impact on her daughter. Even though we are all that age sometime, the world moves on and changes into things we never knew. Help this mother. Give her strength and insight. I ask this through the intercession of Your Most Holy Mother, Mary.

Ditto; my 2nd kid ; my daughter exactly same place 2 years ago but her life has turned round and it does very fast especially when they get away from Secondary school. Im in england so the move to A level was the main split. Now my big problem is convincing her to keep up with going to Mass 😦

I did have a little heart to heart with her and told her to have faith ; things move quickly when you are young. Stop trying to make friends etc but rather be open to people as there is something about desperation that drives what we want away. Be friendly to everyone ; get on with her life and studies and appreciate any friends however few she has.

You say a prayer for mine to go to mass and I will say one for yours

Parenting who says its easy 🙂

Hoping it works out well; am sure it will in time.

Praying for your intentions….

Lord Jesus, You have said,
“Learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart.”
With confidence in Your loving heart
which offers rest to weary souls,
we come to You in this time of special need.
In Your unfailing love,
read the prayer that is written on our hearts,
and grant the grace that we ask of You,
in accordance with Your holy will.
In Your name we pray.
Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

I understand. All mothers do. You are hurting almost more than she is. I will pray for you both. My daughters have had loneliness before and it’s hard.

I truly understand, I am a mom too.
It hurts us parents so much when our children are hurting.

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with Thee
Blessed art Thou among women and
Blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus
Holy Mary Mother of God pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death Amen.:gopray2:

Tell your daughter that the Lord has heard her prayer and that He loves her …

The Lord bless her and keep her
The Lord turn His face to her and have mercy
The Lord turn His countenace to her and grant her peace
The Lord bless her

Thank you all for your kindness. Please know that you and your intentions, whatever they may be, are in my prayers as well. God Bless.

Mother Mary your heart ached as you watched your Son go through many hurts and sorrows, and into danger.
Mother Mary please intercede for this mother, this daughter.
