Lord, please shower this young woman with friendship. Remove her loneliness by leading her to things that will bring her true friends instead of false ones. Lead her to activities that will bolster her feelings of self-worth and allow her to grow into a confident woman. Help her realize that these feelings are all a part of growing up and that eventually, they will pass.
I ask also Lord, that you guide her mother and enable her to find the words that will soothe and have a positive impact on her daughter. Even though we are all that age sometime, the world moves on and changes into things we never knew. Help this mother. Give her strength and insight.
