Please pray for Margaret as she faces a possible cancer recurrence, and for the wisdom of the doctors who care for her.

Mary, health of the sick, you brought forth into our world Jesus Christ, our Divine Healer. In your caring goodness, intercede for Margaret, who is truly in need of miraculous assistance.

If it be God’s will, I ask this day that the gift of healing from all forms of cancer be granted to Margaret. Comfort her during times of anguish, pain, confusion and despair. Ask our gracious Savior to grant her physical health, inner peace and patience in suffering.

May God’s healing graces grant Margaret a life of happiness, health and fulfillment here on earth, and one day the joy of eternal glory in His loving embrace. Amen.

Prayer to St. Peregrine

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty” and
“The Wonder-Worker” because of the numerous miracles that
you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse
to you.

For many years, you bore in your own flesh – cancer, which
destroys the very fiber of our being. When the power of man
could do no more, you were favored with the vision of Jesus
coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God
and Our Lady, the cure of Margaret, who worries that cancer
has returned to her body.

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing
to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great
goodness and mercy. Through Christ Our Lord, amen.

Prayer for the Sick

God of mercy and miracles,
we pray today for those who are ill.
Some are terminally ill,
some are seriously ill,
some are temporarily ill,
and some are mysteriously ill,
but they all need a sense of Your presence
and an experience of Your powerful healing touch.

We ask that pain may be eased,
that wounds may be healed,
that fear may be overcome,
that recovery may be swift and complete,
that the entire experience may be one
that strengthens faith
and encourages them to walk humbly with You.

We ask that cures may be found
for diseases that are still a mystery;
we pray that wisdom and insight
may be given to those who toil in the laboratory;
we pray that all of us may be responsible
in the care that we give to our minds and bodies.

We pray for doctors who diagnose and prescribe;
we pray for families who stand by
and provide comfort and support.
We are grateful for all these human means
by which You work Your miracles of healing.

Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
