Dear Lord, I lift up Erazo to your throne of grace. Comfort him in his distress. Give the consolation of your Holy Spirit in his life. Divorce is a terrible thing but there is nothing that supersedes the love of God, through whom and with whom all things are possible. Thank you so much for your continued prayers…
I am in need of them today. Now that the loan is going through…my ex husband is wanting more money. I do not understand him. I am not sure what or who is influencing him. But I just wish he could stop making this divorce so difficult. Please I ask the Lord to give me the strength to stand up to him and stop allowing him to control my life! I only want peace in my life so I can serve the Lord. The sooner this divorce is finalized, the sooner I can work on the Lord’s discernment.

Eraza, forgive my previous post – I thought you were a “him.” Guys sometimes think with something besides their head (I know: I’m a guy). Have you spoken with a councilor, perhaps a Christian lawyer or someone recommended by your pastor? There are sources of help out there and when they are combined with prayer – yours and ours – they can be powerful. Please make sure that whatever moves you make in your life are in your best interests. I say this without knowing whether you already have professional help. I looked through the posts and didn’t see a reference to that. Good luck, and in the meantime, know that you have the prayers of everyone here.
