Thank you so much for your continued prayers. My son last night told me he would like to become a Priest! Although he is only 10 yrs old. It only makes me realize he is feeling God’s love despite our struggles.

Erazo you are being so brave and the Lord sees all your suffering and blesses you all the more for it.Keep strong and try to keep doing what you are doing.You are a wonderful mother making such sacrifice for your child.

Almighty and loving Father, I thank you for giving St. Gerard to us as a most appealing model and powerful friend. By his example, he showed us how to love and trust you. You have showered many blessings on those who call upon him. For your greater glory and my welfare, please grant me the favors which I ask in his name.

For our friend erazo as she copes with divorce

And you, my powerful patron, intercede for me before the throne of God. Draw near to that throne and do not leave it until you have been heard. O good saint, to you I address my feverent prayers; graciously accept them and let me experience in some way the effects of your powerful intercession. Amen.

Thank you Lord for the continue prayers.

What can I do! I feel that the closer we come to the Lord the battle with evil gets worst. Perhaps I am over-reacting. Perhaps I have to learn how to deal with my my ex-husband’s girlfriend(s).

But it really bugs me. That rather than talk to my son about God and saints. She asked my son if he believes in evil spirits, ghost and witches. I tell you, all I want is for my son to love the Lord. Why this woman keeps tainting him with bad. I keep asking the Lord why this woman was put in my path. I hope one day, I can see the fruit of all this. As I pray and hope that at the end…it is our (my son’s and I’s) loving grace that out-shines in this battle of hers.

Love you all. And i will rejoice for the coming of our Lord this season!

O loving and creating God, bless families hurting with the pain of separation and divorce. We know that when two people are married, they mean it for life. Yet, at times, with some people, and in some very complex situations, it just doesn’t happen that way.

Give peace and courage to all who have experienced the disruption caused by divorce or separation. Help them to accept their feelings of rejection, loneliness and grief.

Help them, above all, to believe in Your presence, and to believe in the Church as a source of strength and compassion.

Help all of us to be sensitive to emotional, spiritual and physical needs of children who have divorced or separated parents. Enable us to reach out in love. May our priests be aware of the pain of separated and divorced parishioners and always welcome them in parish spiritual and social activities.

Especially we pray, O God, that as we continue to recognize Jesus in the “breaking of the bread”, we will carry Jesus with us and reach out to all our separated and divorced families with love, compassion and understanding. Amen.
