I had my husband put in jail last night for assaulting me for the first and LAST time in our 13 year marriage…

I haven’t got a penny to my name to feed my children or pay the mortgage, and I’m terrified that he’s going to make good on his threat to put me in the morgue.

Please pray for my 11 year old daughter who witnessed his abusing me.

Please pray for me that I can recover from 13 years of emotional and verbal abuse (which was worse than last night’s physical abuse). Pray for me that someday I can forgive him.

And please pray for him, that he can get the mental health assistance that he so desparately needs.

Lord of the Powers be us them, for in times of distress we have no other help but You. Lord of the Powers, have mercy on us.

O Lord, You who steadied the hand of Peter as he began to sink on the stormy sea, if you are with Betty, no one is against her. Grant to her the shield of faith and the mighty armor of the Holy Spirit to protect her and her children, healing her daughter of all memories of injury, and guide her to do Your will. The future she put into Your hands, O Lord. Amen

May our Lord give you strength of purpose and heart to provide the necessary things for your children and yet shield them from the harshness and hurtfulness adult life often holds for us. I pray that Jesus will be holding them each night in His arms, also to give you a break and some peace each night.

Dear, I am praying for you with all of my heart. The Lord is with you.

I will pray for you and your daughter for healing hearts and peace of mind. Perhaps Catholic Services in your area good provide some additional guidance or services. God Bless.

May the lord show mercy upon your family, may he heal your wounds and the trauma on your soul, may he bring peace to your husband and deliver him from his path of sin. I pray to the holy mother that she may watch over you always.

My prayers for you :gopray2: especially to St Rita, who had a difficult marriage and is also a powerful patroness in seemingly impossible cases.

Prayers for you, and you did the right thing. When I was married, I was verbally abused almost every day. I used to pray to God that I could pass one day without being screamed at. It wears you down. He was escalating into physical abuse when I left.

No one deserves to have to put up with that.

I pray for healing in your family, reconciliation, and understanding for what is happening.

Iam praying for you and your 11 year old daughter. I pray that you find solace in the comfort of Christ and that you break away from this man for good. You cannot stay in an abusive relationship, and Iam glad you got away from him. I will pray also that he gets help.

I myself was in a relationship that wasn’t physically abusive, but verbally. let me tell you, it was the most painful decade of my life.
I ended the relationship after a decade and that was 10 years ago. I have been the most happier since I left.

I came home to the faith, and I am happier than i have ever been in my entire life. Thanks be to God.

you can find strength in God’s Church, and in support groups for women of domestic violence. My heart goes out to you and your daughter. make the break clean with this man and start over. I never had a penny to my name either when I left my former husband. But it was worth it because a decade later, Iam happier then I have ever been.

do you have family or friends that can help you out? There are alot of organizations out there that can benefit you and her greatly, and help you on the road to recovery.

please know that you are not alone, and your in my heart and thoughts and prayers. God bless you.

I will keep you and your family in daily prayer that you will stay safe and be financially sound and that you may find forgiveness in your heart as you have asked. I’ll pray too for your husband that he will get the mental assistance he needs and will not harrass you and the family in any way. Take care. May The Lord hold you all close and keep you safe …St. Rita, patron of difficult marriages please keep Beverly and her intentions in prayer… Blessings - Barb

I’m praying for you Beverly Chang and your daughter.
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle
Be our protection against the wickedness and
snares of the devil;
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray.
O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power
of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who wander through the world for ruin of souls.
Amen.

I also pray to bind your husbands methods of releasing his tension may he cry like baby for God to be in his soul and reach out for love and forgiveness with a confession of sin and injustice done to the ones he loves. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Amen
