Prayers for me (I’m struggling with the death of my baby)

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. x10

I can’t begin to imagine what you’re feeling but I hope and pray you and your husband find healing.

Prayers and intercession will be made for you. Your trial has broken my heart. As a father, I cannot imagine that pain. It’s almost too overwhelming to just think about.

Remember, that the Word is the true power in Baptism with the water. Your baby is fine. You did wonderfully. You will meet your child in Celestial Glory. 🙂
 
To add, Mary had to watch her Son go through tremendous torture and crucifixion. The Father also. Know that God understands your pain. He went through it.

All of our lives are destined to leave this temporal realm to be with Christ Jesus. We will all make that journey. Your Baby had your love and the Baptismal Grace to be brought pure before all the Heavenly hosts.

I am so, so very sorry for the pain you and your husband are going through. Your baby was very sick and suffering, so our loving God must have thought it best to bring her to Heaven. Our Blessed Mother is babysitting your baby, loving and caring for her until you and your husband are there with her again. God bless you, and may you be able to feel peace again knowing your baby was Baptized and that she is safe and happy. ((HUG))

When a tragedy like this occurs, there are no words. I feel your pain; I am praying for you and your husband and will continue to remember you in my prayers. All my rosaries for the rest of the month will be said for you.

Your baby is certainly in Heaven. Your desire to baptize your baby and your efforts (though you were unable to touch her) were enough for God, who sees and understands. In His infinite love, He has saved your daughter, and you WILL see her in Heaven.

I wish there were more I can do. Know that we, the Church, are with you in your time of suffering. Mother Mary, who had to watch her Son die on the Cross, surely understands your pain. May she comfort you.

I also recommend praying with St. Collette, patron saint of stillbirth.

So sorry you had to go through that, I’ll say a prayer for you. I had a traumatic pregnancy as well and even though I had a happy result it’s taken me years to understand and process what I went through. It’s ok to not be ok. Give yourself time to mourn and recover, maybe find a support group with similar experiences, just being able to get the thoughts out of your head can be helpful.
