My wife never made arrangements for
her own passing, saying that "the govern-
ment will bury me. I was scrambling to find
enough to bury her b/c Social Services both
Federal and Provincial will NOT help.
Finally, her brother in another province bought
a plot and plaque and my mother footed the
bill for a graveside service.
Sad to say that my wife had a hard time the
last two years of her life, she was obese and
her diabetes was out of control, plus she
came down w/ diarrhea and vomiting after
a stay at the hospital. There were only two
men from the church that attended the
funeral to act as pall bearers, the funeral
home provided the other four.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O God,
may perpetual Light shine upon them,
and may their souls, and the souls of
all the faithful departed, by the Mercy
of God, RIP.
