Prayers for Middle-Aged Catholic Singles

There are countless amounts of middle-aged people whom are still single because they are practicing the Catholic faith in an over-sexed world.

I am going to be 40 in 3 months and I’ve never been married and have no children. I am always praying to God that He bless me with a man whom also believes in Catholic tradition regarding no sex before marriage but in this day and age, it seems like it’s almost impossible.

I am asking for prayers not only for myself but for everyone in this position. I also ask for prayers to those whom are Catholic and not practicing their faith, that they see the wrong in what they’re doing and to seek and allow God to show them the way they should live their lives.

Please pray for us.

I have a male friend who feels as you do, a very fine man from a good Catholic family, well, an amazing Catholic family… who hasn’t married because he hasn’t found the right girl, a good Catholic woman. Only you’re in New York and he’s in Australia.
I ask You dear Lord to match up those who long for genuinely Catholic marriage partners. Help them to find each other, Lord.

I’ll pray for you, and him, and all of you who haven’t yet discovered each other, when I go to Mass in a little while…it’s Saturday morning here.

Please God, find these good Catholic men and women to each other.
And please have mercy on those who betray their Catholic faith.

Lord, please keep CherishNY confident that you will find someone for her if marriage is her true vocation. In the meantime, may CherishNY and other singles like her keep their hearts fixed on your Son Jesus and be witnesses to the world of what it truly means to be Catholic, holy, and single. Amen.

Senior moment after a few full days! It’s Friday, not Saturday, but Mass times the same, so I prayed for your intentions.
My friend, I saw him at Mass with his parents as I was visiting a former parish. His Dad mentioned R hadn’t found a girl yet. He blushed and murmered something about knowing many girls, but…“not the right one!” I said in a neat save. So I promised to pray for him the find “the right girl!” He blew me a kiss…but one feels so helpless with you mid-age good Catholics, how to find each other, so Angels of God please bring them all together with “the right one” please, and let them know when they meet him or her, because it mightn’t be immediately obvious.
