Please pray for my son’s godmother who is pregnant. She’s lost two babies in the past six months, but this baby’s already 9+ weeks old, and they got to see their little one’s heart beating yesterday on an ultrasound. :extrahappy:

So far, all is well, and I have been asking her little ones in heaven to pray for their little brother/sister now forming in their mother’s womb.

My son’s godparents are devout and joyful Catholics who have a six-year-old son (we call our sons the “godbrothers” :D).

Thank you for your prayers for this family and their growing baby.

Father, we thank you for the grace of new life, for the love you allow us to share, and for the gift of serving others in their times of need. Bless this family in their time of hope and wonder. Please remove all anxiety from their hearts and minds as they place their lives in your loving hands. Thy will be done in all things! Amen.

Thanks for the prayers, everyone. Everything is still going well (except for my friend’s morning sickness :D), and this just seems like such a miracle after so many years (six and a half) since their first child.

Blessed Mother, place this mother and child under your mantle of protection. St. Joseph, please watch over this family as you watched over the Holy Family.
